Today’s healthcare consumer is taking a more active role in their search for quality outcomes. This activity is challenging the medical community in several areas. Sunshine Wellness Center is a compounding pharmacy dedicated to the total health and well-being of the residents of Hernando County Florida and surrounding areas. One area of increasing demand is that of Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy for women and men.
The associates at Sunshine Wellness Center have taken an active role as part of the healthcare team to increase our working knowledge of current therapies and patient-specific formulations. We have become leaders in working with physicians to help women with their hormone replacement options. It is our goal to provide educational material and specialized formulations to clarify and optimize any bioidentical hormone replacement therapy that might be utilized.
We, at Sunshine Wellness Center, make every effort to separate ourselves from the local chain pharmacies. We provide service to our patients on a personal level. Sunshine Wellness Center maintains a family atmosphere as a way of interacting with our customers. There is no customer that is more important than another, and we strive to make them as comfortable as possible when they are here with us or if speaking with them on the telephone.
We try with every action to show them how much we appreciate them choosing us as their pharmacy. Whatever need they may have, we strive to fulfill it, whether we are able to do it, or if we have to refer them elsewhere. We assist our customers in making the choices that best suit their needs, not the needs of the pharmacy. We are also sympathetic of those who are not able to come to us for their medication needs. We serve those with either a mail service or a direct visit to their home.
We feel that any person who needs our help deserves our help. Our motto is “We’re not your average pharmacy, and we don’t want to be!”. We strive to be different from every pharmacy in town… a difference that will make anyone who walks into our door WANT to come back and be a part of our family.
Sunshine Wellness Center is a member of the Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA) and has acquired more than 50 hours of ACPE-accredited continuing education and training within this professional area of medicine. We believe that we can provide a valuable service to you and your patients through compounding by meeting those needs that are not being met with commercially available medications.
We have an extensive inventory of bulk chemicals, formulas and equipment to meet almost any compounding requirements that have been acquired from an FDA-registered facility. We only use ingredients that are quality-assured through analysis and certification for identification, purity and potency by a graduate chemist at our chemical supplier.
