hi suzanne , i think this stuff is amazing , however im quite frustrated , as it seem to come with a pricetag that most cant afford , but desparatly need , i have been suffering for years and have told my doc , many things that dont add up , and now at 54 finally i asked for testosterone testing and am currantly on a low dose , that has made a huge difference in my life , although i know there are many more things to discover , i had a partial hyterectomy in 1987, and patiently wait for some relief , i am closer than before , so wish me luck , maybe we should be loddying for all women to have access to this at a much afforable price , keep up the geat work love the book judi

Hello, This is very interesting, & I do adore your website. I live in Ireland, Dublin, I have the menopause now 2 years, I have no resources to buy Bio identical Hormones here unfortunately. Could you please recommend an authentic website from which I can buy the Natural Hormones, as I do not wish to use HRT>
Kind regards,
Barbara

I am a firm believer in bioidentical hormone therapy. However, it's not just for women, but can be helpful to men for heart disease, perimenopause, and erectile dysfunction too.

It depends on the type of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) you are on. If you are on stuff like Premarin or Prempro, I'd encourage you to explore other options. Those medications are made from pregnant horse urine and are NOT the same as your natural hormones. The studies that question the health risks of HRT ALL use those medications.. . However, if you are on bioidentical hormones and being followed by a gynecologist familiar with their use, then you are doing great and I encourage you to keep it up.. . As to the use of feverfew in conjunction with HRT, I have not heard of any problems with combining the two. However, if you are currently taking Premarin/Prempro and switch over to bioidenticial hormones, you might not need the feverfew. A hormone imbalance is often the cause of migraines, so once you get your hormones straightened out, the migraines may not be an issue.. . Another thought: have you tried cranio-sacral massage or chiropractics for your migraines? They have a good track record for that problem.

It's hormonal, but maybe you have too low a dose of HRT, or your other systems are out of whack, like your thyroid hormones, etc.

Appreciate the menopause information you put into your website. It's nice to come across a blog every once in a while that isn't the same outdated rehashed material. Wonderful read! I've saved your site and I'm adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.
